A Little about Annie

Born in Chicago, this city kid saw my dreams come true when I moved to Durham with the man of my dreams. I work in public health, which means I get to tell other people what to do for a living and hold that it’s evidence based. When Jeremy and I met, I couldn’t believe my luck. A handsome, scotch-loving smarty pants who thinks I am the cat’s meow? My three months on eharmony waiting for Mr. Right paid off in spades. Jeremy makes every day of my life brighter and calmer.

A Little about Jeremy

I grew up in Snow Camp, NC, and I've lived in NC for my entire life. After leaving the sticks, I've managed to live in the four largest towns in the triangle, doing some sort of computer work in most of them. The intertubes have brought me to my career, and amazingly through eharmony they brought me to Annie as well.

How We Met

We met on eharmony, so it’s true that you can enhance any word with an ‘e’ at the beginning. Jeremy contends that the eharmony recipe for success wasn’t part of the reason that they couple hit it off so well, but Annie can’t think of any other way they would have met, given that she never plays video games and he never hangs out in coffee shops.

Now that we’ve found each other, we spend most of our time arguing about politics, drooling over the FoodNetwork, playing Scrabble and discussing the various merits of martinis.

Our Vision for the Wedding

We are excited to have a small, intimate wedding with our immediate family and closest friends. We plan to celebrate with our extended family, through parties, family beach trips and visits to Chicago. The ceremony will be very simple, reflecting our feelings for each other and the importance we place on having our family and friends present to witness our new union.
